After a lot of hard work and I mean hard work I have the twins potty trained! We started in June when my parents were here and they didn't want to have anything to do with it. We stopped for a few months. One day I got sick of buying diapers so I started again. That was in September. Taylor was great she took to it right away. Jesse not so much. I stopped doing him when he got up on the counter and peed everywhere. Taylor was completely potty trained by Oct. I started on Jesse. If I told him to go he would go to the bathroom, but if I forgot to take him he would have an accident. It was hard with our schedule because we were gone every morning, but Fridays so he was in a diaper all morning and then would nap until 4pm. I would only have a few hours in the day where he wasn't in a diaper. So frustrating. Then if he had an accident he would go and just get new clothes for himself. Rob didn't like this and made him stay in his wet clothes. It only took 3 times and magically he is potty trained. He has even been dry at night! I am so happy:) I guess I am a little sad knowing that I will not have any little ones in diapers anymore. Oh well the pocket book it going to be better. 2 kids in diapers is not cheap!

I was just noticing how young Jesse and Taylor look in your family picture. It seems like they grow so fast!
Even though it really is a very recent picture :)
Don't be sad. With all the saved Money you'll have lots to spend in New Zealand. I am diaper free too and loving it!
yes I agree about money to spend here! WAY TO GO TAYLOR, JESSE AND MOM. Now what reward do they get. Just lots of hugs and kisses. Oh and way less laundry with no wet pants. Lots of love grandma and grandpa Hoagland
I am very jealous! I cannot wait unitl I can say that too.
congrats!
boys are always harder from my experiences
wishing I could get my 3 boys night time done-but instead I'm spending $10 or more every week on night time pull ups
arg
but, I cannot handle havin to wash wet bedding for three boys every single morning-I tried it for a week last fall and that was that
Elliot is almost there-but Ty has nightmares and Quien has his night terrors (they're different) so I give them a little more leeway
hope Chase had fun for his big day!
hugs
Fawn
I have to say, there's something so incredibly rewarding when you don't need diapers anymore. It's just so completely wonderful...I wish Sam would get down the whole nighttime thing...we'd be set then! :)
