Happy Birthday Rob

Today is Rob's 37th birthday. It is sad we had to actually figure out how old he was! Oh the days when you told people that you were 15 1/2 and counted down the days. My nephew told me the other day his birthday was in 4 months and 10 days those days are long gone for us! I just hope he knows how much I love him! He is so perfect for me. He takes care of me and our kids and works so hard. We are lucky enough to have a beautiful home and I get to stay home. It is sad, but there isn't a lot of moms that can do that when their kids get older. I am just so glad that he is mine:) We will be married 14 years tomorrow. CRAZY I don't feel that I could be married that long. I am so lucky to have a great marriage and still say that I truly love Rob with all my heart. I fall more in love with him all the time. Who knows what he will say about me (Just kidding) Anyway I feel very lucky to have found Rob and followed the spirit when we first met!

Coloring Easter Eggs

I bought the Easter egg coloring kit a few weeks ago and ever since Chase wanted to color the eggs. We did this for family home evening 2 weeks ago. It was fun to have someone excited to do it to motivate me! We had to beg Zack to come and help. Once he was there he had a lot of fun, but getting to come took some time.

Sleep Where you can!

In our house you just sleep wherever you can!!! We had my niece and nephew this weekend while their parents were out of town. Rob worked 12 hours on Friday so I had ALL 6 to myself. It wasn't as bad as I feared. They had fun playing together and my nephew is a lot of help. I didn't take one baby out of their crib all weekend!!!!
On Saturday afternoon Rob was feeling tired so I told him to go lay down. After a while I went to go get him and couldn't find him. After a few rooms were searched I found him asleep in a box! We had just bought some huge shelves for our basement and the kids were playing in them that day. Chase had brought his bedding down to play in it. This is where Rob decided to sleep. I guess going upstairs to bed just took to long! The kids thought it was so funny that he was sleeping in the box!

Male Bonding

Chase is always asking Rob to play the monster game! It is a game on the Wii. He loves to sit and watch him play. He will move the ottoman over to the coffee table and get a pillow for Rob's back and then he sits by him. When Chase was an infant Rob would hold him in his arms and play the Xbox so maybe Chase remembers!
I am not sure why Chase wants to watch the monster game so much because not to long after he starts to play it Chase will hide behind the couch. He still watches, but he says he is scared and wants to hide behind the couch!

Peeps

This is Zack's most favorite thing in the WORLD!!! I know, how disgusting! I think they are nasty, but Zack asks for them all year long. He likes the chick peeps the best. When Chick peeps are out of season, then he settles for the other kinds. He doesn't really eat them he just plays with them. He lines them up on varies places in the house. The problem this year is that the twins like to eat them. Taylor usually will eat the head off and then throw it on the ground. Chase is smart and doesn't touch them. I have already bought about 10 boxes of peeps this season. The first time I told him that I had chick peeps he was so excited he was jumping up and down. He was actually more excited for me to give him the peeps then he was opening up his Christmas present! At least I know what he likes!
