Rob got a wonderful present for his birthday! He got a free ambulance ride to the hospital. Yep that is right. He was coming home from work and was rear ended! That happened at 9pm. The ambulance came and when Rob told them that his neck and back hurt they shipped him off to the hospital. They did exrays and he is fine. Not a lot of pain today. I just love his truck his bumper is slightly messed up. Her car was totaled! She of course said that it was Rob's fault because his break lights didn't work. Which was a lie. I was lucky enough to find a friend to come over and watch the sleeping kids and go get Rob. The bad thing was it was 35 minutes from our house. At least he is okay! We went to bed at midnight that night.
I will post a picture of Rob's truck when I remember to do it when he is home!
Happy Anniversary!
So the morning of our anniversary was such a joy NOT!
We had to go and get Rob's truck out of the police impound lot. It was more than 50 miles away from our house. We got there and he was in line waiting and then they told him that they needed Cash and they don't give out change! They couldn't tell him yet if it would cost him 155 or 175 to get it out he would have to go get the money and then tell him. I wanted to tell them that we were not criminals getting our car out we were hit by someone. The other bad thing was that the impound lot was in the middle of no where. We had to drive another 5 miles just to find an ATM. The first one we found didn't work. Then the one we found a lady didn't know how to use the ATM and Rob sat there and waited for another 5 minutes for her. She never figured it out!
We were finally on our way home at noon. We had told the kids that we were going to take them swimming today so they were all crying wanting to swim. The twins sleep at 1:00 for I was stressed, but we just took them anyway and they had a great time. The rest of the day was so wonderful. We dropped the kids off at my brother and sister in law's house and we went to dinner and a movie. It was great just to be with Rob after a stressful morning!

Glad to hear Rob is OK, that is the important part. Those towing/impound lots are the worst, total rip-off. Glad to hear the anniversary went OK, Hawaii will make up for it all. Hope your week ends better than it started.
So much for everyone wishing Rob a happy birthday! Next year we should wish him a crappy birthday and maybe it will be great! I am glad that all is ok!
bummer. quite the adventure. Nic loves reading your blog. He still can't figure out why Rob was asleep in a box.
